Family Advocacy & IEP Support
Navigating special education can feel overwhelming. I work alongside families throughout the IEP process to ensure students receive the support they are entitled to—and that parents feel informed and confident.
Services include:
IEP meeting preparation and strategy
Document review and interpretation
Meeting attendance (virtual or in-person)
Written follow-up and next steps
Flat Rate:
$150 per IEP meeting (all-inclusive)
Additional follow-up services available for add-on at an hourly rate.
Direct Student Support & Tutoring
Whether a student has an IEP, needs support in a specific subject, or would benefit from more personalized instruction, sessions are designed to meet each learner where they are and help them grow with confidence. I provide individualized, one-on-one tutoring that combines special education expertise with strong general education instruction.
Services include:
Individualized instruction tailored to each student’s strengths and areas of need
Reading, writing, and language arts support (including foundational skills, comprehension, and written expression)
Math support across grade levels, including foundational skills, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding
General education tutoring across core subject areas
Executive functioning coaching (organization, planning, task initiation, and study skills)
Special education-informed instruction for students with learning differences
Alignment with IEP goals and accommodations when applicable
Development of targeted learning goals for students without formal plans
Homework support and reinforcement of classroom learning
Enrichment and extension for students needing additional challenge
Sessions are structured, supportive, and responsive—adjusting over time as students build skills, independence, and confidence.
Rate:
$60/hour
Small group sessions are available at a reduced per-student rate.
District & School-Based Consulting
Special education teacher vacancies continue to rise, yet the legal and instructional demands of special education remain unchanged.
I partner with schools and districts to maintain compliance, reduce workload, and ensure continuity of services—even during staffing shortages. My work is grounded in IDEA requirements and aligned to state and federal accountability measures, helping districts proactively address areas that could lead to audit findings, corrective action, or due process concerns.
Services include:
IEP writing and documentation support aligned with IDEA requirements
Coverage for case manager vacancies or high caseloads
Review and revision of IEPs for compliance, quality, and consistency
Corrective Action Plan (CAP) development aligned to state monitoring and federal indicators
Professional development and training for special education staff
Collaboration with administrators to strengthen systems, workflows, and compliance practices
Services are flexible and can be tailored to meet short-term needs or ongoing district support.

Hourly consulting: $75/hour
